Here’s my first iPhone post it’s pretty good and much better than the mobile WordPress site. Oh and adding pictures is a breeze. Approved!

Hurrah!  I’m just downloading this from the App Store (which is taking forever!) so I can’t review it as yet but check out the new WordPress App - info and screen shots are here

OMG!  Our local Starbuck Barista is on Dragon Den with his band Hamfatter kicking some ass and getting a deal with the Dragons….go SB’s boy!!  Check it out here

I’m just upgrading my iPhone software to version 2……wish me luck.  Will post back and let you know how it’s going……

Ok it’s now backed up and has loaded the software, we’re on the restart and it’s waiting for activation…..

FUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK!!  It’s now saying no signal detected - need for activation…..of course there is a signal or how was I using it 20 mins ago……please let google be my friend and get me an answer on this!!!

Ok just found a blog on it, it looks like I maybe somewhat stuffed. So I’m ignoring the no signal message for now and I’m letting the restore from backup run and then I’ll see what happens….

HUZZAR!!!!  My theory was right,  if you ignore the ‘no signal detected’ message and let it run the restore then eventually (about 10-15 minutes) it finally works - PHEW!!!  My life flashed before my eyes there!

Could I have timed our holiday any worse?  We’re missing the finale Dr Who,  we were too early for the X-Files movie and now if any planes get delayed I’ll be missing Dr Horrible.  It’s being shown on the web from the 15th - 20th July.

I am a HUGE Joss Whedon fan, loved Buffy and Angel of course, I adore Firefly and Serenity (can we have a sequel please!) and even Toy Story is a stand out from all the other millions of kids films I’ve had to sit through over the last 5 years.

If you don’t want to see what happens at the end of ‘Stolen Earth’ the penultimate episode of Dr Who Series 4 (or series 700 depending on your age), PLEASE don’t click through.   It was a genius episode with a wonderful ending - I cried into my beer :).

However next week for the finale I’m in Canada ::SOB:: so I’m working on VPN’s and reverse proxies to get iPlayer working from Vancouver.  Please don’t go David Tennant - we love you!

What would Genie Gene say?  Life on Mars didn’t need to be re-made, but we’ll see…  This trailer is crap though, the ‘comedy’ voice-over is just awful, out of place and makes it look like a sitcom rather than the gritty past of the 70’s.  If they sort out the trailers then they possibly stand a chance with the viewing public.

My friend Vero posted this the other day and I’ve been meaning to link to it.   One of her friends found a letter from the former owner of his house at the bottom of the pond they were taking out.  The letter is more than a little mental!
