December 29, 2006

Argh I’ve just been reading my work mail and now I’m all pissed off!!!! Urgh how can people be soooooo stupid sometimes??? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Torchwood Series 2

December 29, 2006

Woo hoo, how on earth did I miss this story??? We’ve really enjoyed Torchwood, however there is something about it that doesn’t *quite* gel. I don’t know if it’s that Captain Jack hasn’t been given enough action and it’s all been about Gwen?? It just seems to miss the emotional connection that Dr Who does so effortlessly. However I still love it and I have high hopes for series 2 :)

Christmas Cheer

December 23, 2006

I am one of those truly sad people who love everything about Christmas, and this story on the BBC newsite just made me smile. How sweet and just slightly mad is it for the US military to be taking calls from kids on Christmas eve. Anyway to check Santa’s progress as monitored by Norad, go here

5 Things…

December 23, 2006

It’s been an age since I’ve had time to blog, but thanks to the Christmas holidays and the fact that my new friend Vero has tagged me, I’m finally getting round to posting :)

Five things you (probably) didn’t know about me:

  1. 1. My first boyfriend ( I was 15 he was 17) ended up being gay and sleeping with a very well know children’s tv presenter - LOL! Nothing to do with me honest!
  2. 2. I lived in Vancouver for a while, I wish I’d never left! However I wouldn’t have met my lovely husband or had my daughter.
  3. 3. I can milk a goat
  4. 4. I totally love compiling my family tree and I’ve managed to get back to the 1500’s.
  5. 5. My degree was dual honours English and History and I work in IT. You can imagine how well that goes down sometimes at interviews!

I shall now tag brontejd and melissa and see what answers we get :)

Happy Christmas everyone!
